Georgetown University, founded in 1789, is the oldest Catholic institution of higher education in the United States and one of the most prestigious universities in the country. The 100-acre campus is located in the historic Georgetown neighbourhood of Washington, D.C. The summer programme "English for Future Leaders" is designed for school students aged 13–17 and combines intensive English language study with the fundamentals of business and leadership. Participants live and study right on campus, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in American student life. The programme includes 20 English lessons per week in groups of up to 14 people, as well as modules on career development and global leadership. Each section concludes with an essay or presentation. A minimum English level of B1+ is required for enrolment.
