Summer programmes at Princeton give high school students from around the world a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the academic environment of one of the most prestigious Ivy League universities. The language programmes are run by third-party organisations on campus, and each has its own age restrictions and academic focus. Participants live in the campus's historic residences and eat in university dining halls.
One of the programmes is iD Tech Academies — a two-week intensive for teenagers aged 13–18 in programming, artificial intelligence, and game development. The Reason & Rationality programme is aimed at senior school students and focuses on critical thinking through the study of 20 "big ideas" in philosophy, economics, and ethics.
