UC Berkeley Summer Camp takes place on the campus of one of the oldest and most prestigious public universities in the United States, founded in 1868 on the picturesque San Francisco Bay. Just 23 kilometres separate the academic building from the city centre, giving students ample opportunities for excursions and exploring the region's cultural life. The summer programme is designed for school students aged 13–17 and includes 20 English lessons per week in small groups of up to 15 people.
The campus offers a large outdoor swimming pool, sports fields, a modern sports centre with basketball courts, and shared recreation areas. Participants can also attend entertainment events: sports competitions, cinema, quizzes, discos, dancing, and talent shows.
Accommodation, Meals, and Pricing
Participants are accommodated in the university's own residences in rooms for 2 people. Meals are provided on a full boarding basis: three meals a day, a balanced and varied menu prepared from fresh ingredients. The programme fee includes tuition, study materials, a certificate, excursions, a travel pass, an entertainment programme, sports activities, accommodation, and meals. Flights, transfers, medical insurance, and a registration fee are paid separately. The programme is available from 28 June to 9 August 2026, with a minimum duration of 2 weeks.
